Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using HomeWeb ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

HomeWeb lets you configure display pages — clocks, weather, photo slideshows, videos, and other widgets — that are rendered on your home Smart TV via a unique URL. The Service is provided "as is" for personal, non-commercial use.

3. Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide a valid email address and keep it up to date.

4. Subscription and billing

Access to the Service requires an active paid subscription ($6 per year). Payments are processed by Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.

Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase if you have not used the Service. Contact us at info@home-web.online to request one.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload content that is illegal, abusive, or infringes third-party rights.
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose without written permission.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service.
• Share your account or TV URL publicly in a way that enables unauthorized bulk access.

6. Content ownership

You retain full ownership of the photos and content you upload. By uploading, you grant HomeWeb a limited, non-exclusive license to store and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

7. Storage limits

Each account includes up to 500 MB of photo storage. We reserve the right to remove content that exceeds this limit after reasonable notice.

8. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance, infrastructure issues, or events outside our control may cause downtime. We are not liable for losses resulting from service interruptions.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, all your data will be deleted within 30 days.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HomeWeb is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email before significant changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
